We hope you and your loved ones are healthy and safe, and we send our thoughts of support to our dear members who may be struggling. While many charities are stretched thin trying to meet community needs, it is especially important to remain true to our 100+ Women Who Care mission to provide community support during this challenging time.
Keeping our mission and your safety in mind, we are planning a simplified format for June, as we do not plan to meet in person. Our gracious hosts, QBE, would like to plan for a September gathering, if local and state rules allow for a group as large as ours to have a meeting. We will keep you posted, but be assured the 100+ Women Who Care – Madison board is reviewing virtual attendance and voting options. We would be interested to hear if any members have any software suggestions.
Information regarding the June voting process
- Submit any new charity nominations by April 30 to us here. We will vet the new nominations in early May and update the current list.
- Our updated Survey Monkey ballot will be emailed May 8 to all Individual Members and Team Captains. You will have until midnight on May 14 to cast your vote and narrow our list to the final three.
- The three finalists will be asked to provide a 500-word statement by May 22, with a summary of their organization and how they would use the funds in lieu of a presentation. This is a temporary accommodation, and we hope to return to presentations and Q&A as soon as possible.
- We will send you the the charity statements in a Survey Monkey email on May 23 to cast your vote for your top choice. You will have one week to review these statements, for the teams to discuss their vote, and for individuals and team captains to cast your Survey Monkey vote by midnight on May 31.
- We plan to announce your chosen Impact Award recipient on June 1. We will email invoices for those who prefer electronic payment. Or, as always, checks can be made out to 100+ Women Who Care – Madison mailed to:

Please note that if you are in a situation right now that makes it difficult for you to make your contribution, we completely understand. We know this is a very tough time for many and we want to be flexible with our members.
Have you experienced difficulties with the Survey Monkey Ballot?
For now, we will be very dependent on Survey Monkey functioning and reaching you. If you have any problems with Survey Monkey or any communications from us, PLEASE let us know right away by emailing info@100womenmadison.org. We will either set up a time to help you fix the issue or send troubleshooting guides. We will also be able to manually enter you votes if the system is still getting fixed for you.
Note: We cannot change your permissions on your behalf if you’ve unsubscribed from Survey Monkey in the past, we can only make sure we’re sending it to the right email. We can provide the instructions to alter this choice and re-subscribe or whitelist them.
If you are concerned about catching up with your contribution for March’s chosen charity, Canopy Center, please just do what you can and send it in by invoice or a check to our PO Box.

We are all navigating unusual times, and we know that each of you are helping families, friends, colleagues, and neighbors to the best of your abilities within difficult, socially distant guidelines.
