Hope & A Future is taking a fresh look at the needs and strengths of the two
fastest growing segments of our population: seniors and young at-risk families. Hope & A Future
is developing a new care model based on strengthening the generations by bringing them
together in a Therapeutic, Interactive, INtergenerational Neighborhood. The setting will
include housing for healthy and frail seniors of mixed income level and affordable rental housing
for young families interested in mentoring and support. It will include both indoor and outdoor
community spaces where healthy, intergenerational relationships can be established around
shared activities and interests.
Rylan’s Hope
PRESENTATION SUMMARY – CLICK HERE TO DOWNLOAD PDF >>
Rylan’s Hope raises funds for families that have children with disabilities up to
age 18 in the state of Wisconsin, in order to cover needed therapies, equipment and other disability-related expenses that insurance won’t cover. The foundation was founded honoring Rylan Schmidt, a 7 year old boy whose life was taken too soon. As a parent of a special needs child the founders have seen all the gaps in the system and their foundation aims to fill those gaps and make things easier for families. Our vision is that all families should be able to provide needed services for their child with disabilities regardless of financial ability.
